Production Update:

Hope you are having a pleasant day.
We are delighted to announce to you that our production is going on smoothly, we have finished manufacturing all housing and casing units. Below are some photos just for you:

Quick Update On Mass Production
Good day Backers,
I hope you all had a great weekend!!!
Like you already know we started producing our packaging materials, last week and the good news is that we have officially started the mass production of the tracker itself today as we, since we've successfully produced a set of perfect working iKONs.
We will share more update with you end of next week.

Hi Everyone,
Hope you've had a great start to 2017. We are truly excited for this current stage.
At no extra cost to you, we added an additional feature to your iKON tracking devices. We believe that a tracking device will never be completed, without this life saving feature.
The feature was integrated with the iKON's geofencing functionality.
This means, you will not only be alerted by your phone whenever you leave any of your belongings behind, but you will also be alerted simultaneously by your iKON device or devices, as soon as you moved out of the geo-fencing perimeter. The additional feature we've added to the iKON Tracker, truly justified why iKON is your personal assistant, as it will help you avert LOSS or THEFT.
I was having a discussion with a colleague of mine earlier this week and I told him, we would rather refund all the backers than to send them substandard iKONs. Quality is paramount to us and we cannot but deliver the best to you, after all you have done for us, risking and supporting us with your hard earned money, despite the fact that you had no personal relationship with us, neither did you knew us personally.
Finally, all production are lined up and for caution sake, we are only producing 1,000 units out of 3,000 pieces, for our first line of production. It is highly important for us to do it this way, so we do not jeopardise all the efforts we’ve put into this project to get this far. Initially, the first batch was meant to be 500 pieces, but we doubled it due to the fact that we a month behind.
Again, we will never take your support and kindness for granted, we will forever be grateful to you.

Production Update:
Good day iKONERs,
We are wishing you a PROSPEROUS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Quick update for you regarding production.
oOHOo wow what a great joy for us making this amazing milestone (hmm finally)… It is has been a lot of hard work, despite all the sleepless nights, many spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional challenges, it is a great joy for us to get this far.
You have been our motivation and the major reason for us to continue when we thought of quitting and giving up. We cant thank you enough for believing in us and entrusting us with YOUR HARD EARNED CASH (oH Wow, we are truly humbled by your action), despite knowing all the risks within crowdfunding.
Our manufacturing company is on 3 days festive holiday and the good news is that we have finalised all things regarding production (Colours, Manual, Blister, Packaging and Tracker units)
We have also printed some packaging samples. See images below:
Really want to be done with this production stage and get your iKONs to you in no time… No more adding extra features to the tracker, these can wait till v2 & v3.. Lets get this done…

FYI:
I love working on new little and less challenging ideas whenever I get stuck on our major project "iKON", in order to put mind off iKON for some time. Because it helps me distance myself from the current problem and that way I can attain the solution to continue, that was where Volta came into being.
So Volta is not a distraction and it actually motivates me.

I successfully received the final samples of iKONs, I tested them thoroughly and they were fantastic.

The amazing thing about iKON geofencing functionality is the two ways anti-loss communication. This means, you will not only be alerted by your phone whenever you leave any of your belongings behind, but you will also be alerted simultaneously by your iKON device or devices, as soon as you moved out of the geo-fencing perimeter. This is an additional functionality that we've added to the iKON Tracker, in order to make your experience unforgettable.
Based on my feedback after testing:
We are now changing the current buzzer on the device to a newer one with much higher decibel, in order to increase the loudness of the anti-loss alarm (The Tracker is completely sealed as a result of water proofing, which has reduced the loudness of the buzzer). The result will be out in just few days. I purposely delayed posting this update, as I was hoping the result would be out earlier today (Thursday 29th of December). I will share the result with you as soon as its concluded.
You will definitely agree with me that the wait was worth it.
Application:
We have also improved and fixed some bugs from our iOS App.
We are yet to release our applications (Android & iOS) on the application stores and we won't do so until we start shipping. You will only be able to access our final application in January once we start shipping.
I will share the Buzzer update with you by the end of this weekend or early next week to keep you abreast of the result.
