iKON- The Best Tracking Device with a SMART BUTTON

Hey everyone, 

Gradually, I am starting to get back to the iKON project. Like I said before, I had to work on other projects in order to raise funds and resources for iKON. 

We have sent out over 4000 pieces of iKONs so far and some people (not even up to 100 iKONs out of 4000 pieces, which is less than 10% of the entire 4000 pieces) are having some issues with the iKONs connecting with their application, which is okay because
we are a startup and these are part of the issues that startups face.
Most of the people that are having issues with their iKONs are those using Android devices. There is nothing much I can do about this for now because the Android application requires a different configuration across different Android devices.

My iKONs are working perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S7 (as seen in the video from my last update). 

Moving forward, we are considering focusing on serving all iOS users and maybe some of the Android device (such as Galaxy S7+ upward). Then we will continue to add more devices along the way, as we have the capability to do so. 

Also, remember, there was a reason we chose to launch the product via crowdfunding. There would have been no need for us to launch the project via crowdfunding if we have had all the resources. It is a startup and anything that can happen could happen, that is part of the growth and what makes a good story for a business that survives the startup stage.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Greetings, 

I hope this update finds you well and I will keep this very short. I am starting to solve most of the challenges we had encountered with iKON, thanks to resources I was able to generate through the charger. 
I will start fulfilling and shipping out iKONs to all new backers that are yet to receive their iKONs from next week. 

Below are two product tests that I made, one for an iOS application (using an iPhone6s) and the other for Android application (using a Samsung Galaxy S7).

I also showed that the iKON devices are truly waterproofed to the booth, by operating iKON(s) from inside the water.

Like I made mention in the previous update, the iKON iOS application is very much intact and functions very well. Below is the link to download the iKON iOS application:

The iKON Android application is also stable and functions really well. The thing with the Android application is that it requires different configuration depending on your mobile phone provider (HTC, Samsung, LG Oppo, Sony etc all requires different configuration). 

I sincerely appreciate your support and patience. I will also gladly replace all defected iKONs, kindly send me an email about your defected device(s) and I will take care of it for you. You have nothing to worry about.

Greetings everyone,

I hope you all had a great start to the new week. I know a lot of people were wondering what was going on the iKON campaign since I haven't posted any updates lately.

I purposely stopped shipping out the iKONs for couples of reasons. As we all know, we are currently facing some challenges with our software and application, which is an important segment of the whole iKON project. Our iOS application is very much intact and functions very well, while our Android requires a massive update and in order to solve these problems, we require some resources and funding.

We can either borrow or create other avenues for us to come up with the funds that we need to take our product to the next level and that is exactly what we are currently doing. We need some more time to get this right and put things in the right order. I know you are unhappy and I would like you to kindly understand this is a startup, which was why we launched via Crowdfunding in order to bring our dream to reality.

There should be no excuses of course and people should be accountable to deliver what their promises. 

Finally, we are truly working on this and we will soon get it right and put in the right order and once we do, we are definitely going to make it up to you all and we wouldn't even mind sending out FREE iKONs to every single one of our backers.

Quick Update:

Greetings, 

iOS App:
Our current iOS application has a feature where you can change the picture on the tracker to the picture of the items you had your iKON on such as keys, backpack, or wallet. 
This feature will also be well implemented on the Android application and you will be able to do the same with the iKON Android application.

Android App: 
The current iKON Android app works well on some phones, not on others. So we will continue to get this improved and make it works well with all Android devices.
If you are still facing challenges with using your device with your Android app, here is what you need to do:
1) Uninstalling the iKON app
2) Reboot your phone
3) Download the iKON app again from Google store
4) Install the iKON app again.

And you will be good to go. 

The device won't come ON or Constant disconnection:
If your iKON device died and won't turn on or losing constant connection with the iKON application, it means you haven't changed the sample battery that came with the iKON device. So kindly get an Energizer battery (CR1632) from any convenience store. 

Finally, I understand that it has taken us so long to get these devices into your hands and it is not even perfect yet. 
My sincere apologies for all the delays, I want you to know that we are working hard at it and it won't be long till we get it all right and you won't regret supporting and helping us bring our dream to reality.

Greetings everyone,

Here is a quick update just to let you know that I didn't give up on the project. We've just increased the loudness of the iKON ringer and you should be able to experience an increase in your current iKON ringer.

Also, the iKON iOS application is working well and I have received a couple of complaint concerning the Android application and I am working on improving it. 

Once again, I will kindly appreciate if you could replace the batteries that came with you iKONs with some Energizer's battery. 

As you can see the device and the application actually works and now we are at the stage of improving and enhancing our applications based on all the feedback that we've received and this will take us a while due to limited resources that we currently have.

I also purposely stayed away from reading the comments on the campaign section. You can send me a message or email me should in case you have any challenges. I have also purposely delayed the shipment of the orders of those that recently backed, in order to make sure they receive the best of the iKONs.
